WOW is My Mom Falling Down on The Job!!!

Mom's not blogged for me since MAY! See what happens when a baby comes into the house? I hope it's not true what they say...'in with the baby, out with the trash'. Aside from no new photos of MEEE, things are actually going pretty well. Mom and Dad let me sit in their laps now when they hold the baby. Guess that's a good thing, huh? I was getting tired of being put on the floor!

Everyone here is making plans to go to Jam...Jam...sheesh...hang on...that's it! Jamaica next summer for Daniel and Christina's wedding. I wonder if I'll get to go too! MEEE on an airplane! MEEEE at a resort! Pretty special, don't ya think? Oh I sure hope I get to go!!

Today mom went to get her hair cut...tomorrow I get to go. Rosie is going with me. She's shedding her winter golden coat...all over the house. Me, I don't shed. Maybe mom will post a photo of me after I get my new do!

The Baby

Well...here's our baby Aubrey. Everyone fusses over her. I mean she smells good and all, but I'm on the floor while mom's feeding this grandbaby. My spot is in mom's chair with her, not on the floor. I think the least mom could do is put the baby down for me to play! I might like playing with the baby, right?

Sorry I've not been round in a while, but things have been SO busy here. Almost time for the new grandbaby to arrive, mom's been making a quilt, cleaning, working, you know the drill.

It's been raining so much that I don't even want to go out, but there are birds every where right now. Especially Cardinals and Woodpeckers. Thankfully mom's been shooting them with her camera and not me!

Everyone's been pretty busy here. Getting the pond ready for spring, clearing out the dead winter stuff from the yard...and...painting bedrooms before the new grandbaby is due. Like a newborn is gonna notice if the rooms aren't painted?

Mom's not been taking photos of me these past few weeks...although she HAS taken lots of photos of the woodpeckers and red Cardinals outside. Do you think she believed me when I said I don't like to have my photo taken?? Uh oh, maybe I autta let her know I just play hard to get.

Hi all! Guess what day it is again. Yah, dad thought I smelled a bit...shall we say gamey? Personally, I didn't smell a thing, but hey, what do I know?

Mom's making a quilt. I wish she'd make chicken instead! Dad says we're having pizza for dinner since mom commandeered the eating table.

Hiya! It's March here, but still on the pretty chilly side, so I'm snuggled up with my pal, Rosie. Mom and Dad tell her what a good mom figure she is to me. She really does look after me and keep me warm!

Got Toe?

I've toys. Lots of toys. They get stepped on, tripped on, you know the drill...but the toys I like best are attached to dad's foot. He calls 'em toes, I call 'em toys. Same diff.

They're great for chewing and the move a lot! Dad laughs, I think it tickles him. Woot! Dad's toes are a blast!

Hi all, it's me, Pip. I'm not big enough to get on the furniture, so I have my own stairs! They help me get to places I've never been before without help.

Did I tell you we're having a grandbaby in April? I'm not really sure what that is yet, but it must be a good thing because everyone is excited about it. It's a girl and her name will be Aubrey Lynn. I sure hope it's someone for me to play with, don't you?

Gotta go, mom's going to a shower for the baby. I dunno bout this, cuz normally mom showers at home.

How humiliating. A bath. Is there no privacy? Is there no shame? Is there no one that wants to rescue me from this oft repeated task? What one must endure in the name of beauty. It's a sad thing, I tell ya.

Though there IS an awful lot of snuggling and kissing done after my bath...and an extra treat. ;)

I'm a Bit Sad Today

I think Missy won't be coming to live with us. My vet says she's got some issues that could become a problem for me and the ungrateful cats I live with. Hopefully we can help find a forever family that can love her.

Whew, What a Month!

We've been so busy this month. I'm sorry, but this time I have no new photos to share. I'll get working on them though.

We might be adopting another Yorkie! She's Missy and is a year and a half old, but was raised with me for the first year. Her mom probably can't keep her any longer because she's had some health issues...so...looks like Missy will come share my toys. I don't mind since we know each other and all. Missy's spent many a weekend here, so it's like her second home.

This is Rosie. You see what she's doing?? She's like totally lying on the loveseat! Mom came home and saw her, then went and snagged the camera for proof. Rosie didn't move, heck she didn't even care!

I don't do cold January mornings!!

Oh my goodness. Monday morning and it's 7:30. Mom wants me up, but I love the warm bed. Maybe I can just snooze till...May? No? Fine. You see, I slept with my sweater on, and had to cover with my fleece. Mom says it's 68 degrees in here, but I think she's wrong.

Okay, so today was my beauty day. I don't know why, but I get pretty scared to go there. It's always nice to have a beauty day, but it's that not being with mom & dad and not being home thing, I guess.

It's cold and windy here! I have to see my personal groomer in a few days. Don't you think in winter one should be allowed to look scruffy?? I sure do.

Two things make me run...when mom carries scissors or the camera. Today she had the scissors. Always snipping on my face. Although I was able to see when she was finished this morning.

The cat in this photo is Gracie. She only likes mom and dad. The rest of us, she has no time for. Cats are sure picky. I love everyone!

It's Snowing! Sort of

First time I've seen it this year! Not supposed to amount to anything much. I like looking at it because it's pretty. BUT I don't like having to go out in it. Makes my toes wet and I get cold. Sweater or no sweater. Yes, I wear them. If you were as tiny as I am, you'd be wearing a sweater!

Lots has happened too! My human sis, Crystal got married, my human brother got engaged to someone we love (and who loves me!), my other human brother is going to have a baby girl the end of April. Mom & Dad tell me I'll always be their number 1 baby ;)

My pal, Sam...he's a Golden who was part of our family. Anyway, Sam died unexpectedly of a brain vessel bleed on October 30, 2006 and we really miss him. But our other Golden, Rosie, has taken me as her own to love.

Now...I have to go find how to post some photos! And I'll try my best to write often.

My Weekend

I've been trying to upload my photo, but I can't get the size right. Give me time, I'll figure it out.

Yesterday mom and dad had a bridal shower to attend. My human sister, Crystal, is getting married Sept 9th. For some reason I'm not in the wedding. I'm sure this is an oversight. Right?

Today mom and dad repainted the back porch and we spent a good part of the day out there. I snoozed in the sun. Then mom got out the camera. Ho boy.

This morning we went to Home Depot and BJ's. I love to go to these places. People stop to tell me I'm cute. One lady was sure surprised when she saw me! She thought I was a stuffed animal till I moved. Like my mom carries about stuffed animals? Humans can sure be strange!

Hi! I'm Sara and as you may have guessed, I'm a Yorkie. But I'm not just ANY Yorkie. My mom and dad think I'm the most beautiful Yorkie ever to exist. And hey, who am I to disagree?

I'll post as often as I can so you can see the world from my view. It's pretty low to the ground sometimes, but most times, my mom and dad carry me high.
